All-on-4 Teeth in a Day in Bellaire

Have you been told you need dentures to replace all the teeth in the upper or lower arch of your jaw? Do you worry that your dentures will slip and shift or that you’ll have to go without teeth during the process?

Today, you can put those worries to rest. Our experienced Houston dentist, Dr. Jeffrey L. Schultz, now offers the innovative All-on-4® Teeth in a Day procedure. All-on-4 is an advanced implant system designed to permanently replace all teeth in an upper arch, lower arch, or both, utilizing only four strategically placed implants instead of multiple implants that are traditionally used.

Benefits of All-on-4 Implant Dentures

This advanced procedure requires fewer office visits, which saves both time and money and results in permanent, non-removable restorations that we can typically create in just one visit. All-on-4 dental implants are also generally much more comfortable than traditional removable dentures. You can now quickly enjoy a lifetime of restored teeth functionality and the smile you’ve always dreamed of.

How All-on-4 Dentures Work

The All-on-4 dental implant procedure at Schultz Center for Dentistry is a new system we use to replace missing teeth with a streamlined treatment process. In fact, the procedure usually takes only one day to complete.

The process for All-on-4 dental implant treatment involves:

  • A 3-D scan of your mouth captured to analyze the bite, fit, shape, size, and color of your teeth to customize the best, most natural-looking restorations
  • Four dental implants strategically placed inside the gums using titanium posts anchored to the jaw and a custom-made bar designed to fit your mouth very precisely
  • All-on-4 implants immediately connected to your jaw via the anchors eventually will fuse to the bone, making them a natural part of your mouth
  • A custom-made set of new teeth affixed to the implants

Your new set of teeth should feel permanent and natural following the implant placement procedure. Your teeth will be sensitive immediately following treatment; however, this should only be temporary, and you should be able to resume full normal eating and chewing functionality about six weeks after the procedure.

For optimal results, Dr. Schultz recommends that patients return to our Houston, TX dental office to have their new teeth cleaned at least once or twice per year.

Frequently Asked Questions

Full and partial dentures are a time-tested method for replacing missing teeth, and they have helped millions of people regain chewing function and restore a more youthful appearance. Unfortunately, since dentures are prosthetics that sit on top of your gums and rely on suction for stability, they tend to be uncomfortable and shift and move unexpectedly.

Fortunately, today we have the option of stabilizing dentures with state-of-the-art dental implants. A dental implant is a titanium replacement root that Dr. Jeffrey Schultz places surgically in your jaw and left to heal over several months. As it heals, it fuses with surrounding bone and tissue and becomes part of your dental structure.

When we use them to stabilize dentures, Dr. Jeffrey Schultz places several implants at strategic points along your jaw. After the implants heal, your new denture is customized to attach securely to the implants. Since your denture gains stability from the implants, it won’t shift or move and can only be removed by Dr. Schultz.

Dr. Schultz is highly trained and experienced in dental implant placement, so you have the comfort of knowing that he will handle the entire process from start to finish here in our comfortable Houston, TX dental office.

If you are interested in learning how we can help you get rid of ill-fitting and unstable dentures, please call us to arrange a consultation. With our implant-supported dentures, we’ll have you smiling confidently in no time!
